SGT Medical College, Hospital & Research Institute,
Budhera, Gurgaon (Delhi NCR Region) is a unit of Dashmesh Educational Charitable
Trust, which was constituted in the year 1999, with the avowed object of
spreading the message of Sree Guru Gobind Singh (Dashmesh) that the highest
service is rendered by spread of knowledge. The trust aims towards providing
quality education by creation of centers of academic excellence for promoting
studies in Sikhism and other subjects, and also aims to serve society by
providing better health care facilities to the needy at an affordable cost.
In the year 2009 the Trust has applied for the establishment of Medical College
with the appropriate authorities, and got permission to commence 1st year MBBS
course from the academic session 2010-11 with an intake capacity of 100 students
per annum vide MCI Letter No MCI.34(41)/2010/Med./918 Date 15/07/2010.
